ANOTHER IMPORTANT AWAY VICTORY
Saturday ,February 20 we played against Himmarshee SC in Margate. We had a brilliant first half scoring four goals to make a significant difference. Coach Meeroff used a (1)-4-2-3-1 formation with great success. The rationale for such modification was as follows: Margate is a narrow and short turf field and Himmarshee SC is a fit, fast, and physical team who prefer to have possession and attack frontally all the time. We played counterattack taking advantage of open space behind the flat line of four they used in the back.
In the second half coach Meeroff made a few substitutions to give playing time to players who are new to the team and need to integrate with the rest. The goals were sored by Josh Itty in two occasions, Jacob Testa and Musheer Abdalhuk. Cris Morales did not play since he was serving the one game suspension from last game. The final score was LSC 4- Himmarshee SC 1.
